Mad Men Out of Office: Facebook Application
The greatest challenge with Mad Men was that the producers did not want users to be posting on social while the show was on the air, which is the polar opposite of actual user behavior. Our creative solution was to create a Facebook Application (#tbt) where users could create a custom "Out of Office" message to post to their social platforms to tell their friends they would be unavailable while the show was on the air. Every week the options for activities with each major character would change based on what had happened in that week's episode, which kept users returning week after week.
This content series featured custom illustrations of thematic elements from the show to remind fans of the past seasons and get them excited for the upcoming premiere.
Binge Catch-Up Campaign
Like Don Draper once said, "Make it simple but significant." This series was created specifically to encourage our audience to catch up before the season premiere. Binge taps into viewer behavior of watching shows in large batches at once, but also nods back to the behavior of the characters on the show.
